Branding and Identity Design for Nido.
Nido (“nest” in Italian), is a neighbourhood pasta restaurant that has just opened in Hyde Park, South Australia. Max Sharrad (Young Chef of the Year, 2018 Appetite for Excellence) heads up the kitchen serving bar serving salumi, grilled meats and fresh pastas handmade daily.
In Italy, the ‘bar’ is the centre of social life, accessible to all and a place for the community to gather. The owners want Nido to become your go-to, your second home. The brief was to create something that was reflective of this along with being 'simple, fresh, friendly, and with a nod to Italian culture without being cliche.'
