Little Wise One is a project and product created to bring awareness to a child’s natural inner wisdom through a set of affirmation cards that help them become more mindful in their thoughts, emotions and feelings. Not only a meaningful moment every time they’re held, each affirmation is aligned with Australia’s National Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework, making them perfect for at home or school.
In collaboration with Marguerite Moloney, I contributed to this magical project by executing the branding, packaging and illustrations on each of the 40 hand-painted affirmation cards, as well as the accompanying booklet. Drawn to encourage children and adults alike to explore their own creativity, the illustrations were inspired by our local environment here in Bundjalung Country, Northern New South Wales.
All of the packaging and cards are printed on 100% recyclable FSC-certified stock to support our natural environment for future generations, which is yet another aspect of this project that warms my heart.
